IVAN CIFRIĆ

IVAN CIFRIĆ (1946). Since 1997. he is a Full Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Zagreb (Croatia). He received a fellowship by „Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung“ during 1984/5, 1992, 1994. His most significant books are: The ecological conscience of the youth (1987, co-author B. Čulig), The Ecological Adaptation and Social Rebellion (1990), Essay on Sociology of Education (1990), Progress and Survival (1994), Bioethics (2000), The Modern Society and World Ethos (2000), Environment and Sustainable Development (2002), Rural Development and Modernization (2003), Bioethical Ecumene (2007), Dictionary/Glossary of Culture and Environment (2009), The Culture and Environment (2009).
